new video message not showing in "received messages"?

    new video message not showing in "received messages"?

    hi! I just got a new video message and was notified by email, but when I logged into oovoo it showed no new messages in my inbox. I can view the video online but for some reason I can't access it directly through my oovoo account? can someone tell me how to fix this, because I'd really like the save the message!

    Hi Delighted,

    ..........it all depends upon how the video message was sent to you.

    If the sender sent the message to your email - then you will not get it in ooVoo.

    If the sender sent it to your ooVoo account then you will get it in your ooVoo client. Keep in mind that you will receive the message at whatever computer you happen to be signed in on at the time the message was sent. So, if you were on ooVoo at home on your Desktop when the message came, don't look for it on your office Laptop the next day. The messages are stored locally - only on the actual PC where they are received.So, the message is on your Desptop at home and you will have to sign into ooVoo to se it there.

    The email was sent to my ooVoo account, I'm pretty sure, here is the email.

    If you are signed into ooVoo, click on the ‘View’ button to see it now.

    I've never used ooVoo on any other computer except my laptop, but its not showing there. Still, is there anyway I can download the message and save it on my computer?

    Hi Delighted,

    This message was sent to your ooVoo client. Click on "Open Video Messages History" Select your message and click "Open". On the next page click the green arrow to play the message..

    Hi dave! The problem is that the video is NOT showing in my video message history, despite having been sent to my ooVoo client. How can I get it to show OR is there anyway I can download the video from the internet?

    Hi Delighted,

    The video message was sent to the ooVoo client you were signed into when the message was sent to you. It would seem that this is not the machine you are on now.  Once the client receives it, it is deleted. Best Alternative: If you are unable to find the other PC your message is on, I suggest that you contact the person who sent it and ask him/her to resend it (Its in his/her "Sent" files folder).

    I have found that the ONLY way an OoVoo video message shows up in my OoVoo client is if I am actually signed into OoVoo when it is sent.

     

    If I my computer is off, and I am not logged in to OoVoo, it is only accessible via the web link that comes in the email notification.

     

    (This aggravates me to no end, by the by.)
