    As an educator I have to wonder if anyone is watching the advertisements.

    thanks for the comment.  we actually see click through rates which are somewhat higher than industry experience on the internet.  the ads are one source of potential revenue to hopefully offset cost so we can offer some free aspects to ooVoo.

    I forgot to mention that if you buy the SUPER plan, you will be able to enjoy advanced features with almost no advertising. As mommasan mentioned, the ads provide income to offset development costs enabling us to provide you with a free service. Regarding specific ads, people have different tastes. For example, a hamburger ad might be offensive to a vegetarian... So, if something really bothers you, please let us know and we will check into it.
